DIY Wedding Caterers
We are offering a new service to our potential clients for 2018. Are you on a limited budget? Do you have your own venue, village hall or family members’ house? If you are looking for a cost-effective option for a DIY wedding caterer, then the PQ team have come up with a solution for you.
We can supply from a
selection of dishes made at our kitchen for your wedding takeaway, all you need to do is order from us the dishes of your choice, which will be sealed in plastic boxes for all cold
starters. Main courses will be in disposable hot food containers, and desserts will be boxed in plastic containers. Where suitable all main courses can be precooked and all you need to do is reheat,
times and temperatures will be given to along with your handbook on finishing the dishes and photographs of how they can look, it’s like you had a chef at your wedding
but easily put together by you. All foods will be delivered in a refrigerator van during transportation.
This service enables me to reduce the cost to you by not having the staff set up at the venue, staffing for the day, all catering equipment on site and clear up the following day…. it’s that simple, reduce overheads can reduce cost.
This service is available on the menus below, the PQ events standard of food which we have built our reputation on over the past decade, will still apply to all the dishes we have created. Local Pheasant, pigeon, rabbit, Venison infused with wild garden herbs wrapped in smoked bacon. With a red onion & tribute ale marmalade
Beetroot and goats cheese Terrine
Layers of fresh beetroot with goat’s cheese infused with garden herbs finished with pickled walnuts and a garlic salsa
Tender slow cooked lamb shoulder stuffed with apricot and herbs with honey roasted vegetables with a wild mushroom Dauphinoise Potatoes Finished with a red wine and wild nettle jus
Spinach and Ricotta Tart
On a bed of honey roasted vegetable s and a wild mushroom and herb sauce Vergie.
Slow roasted crispy belly pork with wild mushroom dauphine potatoes, braised red cabbage finished with a spiced apple jus
Chicken Breast filled with mushrooms and chorizo with creamy herb potatoes and a wild mushroom sauce
Fresh beetroot and caramelized red onion in a light pastry case finished with a sauce vierge and crushed herb new potatoes
Lemon Citron Tart with Cornish clotted cream and honeycomb crumb
Chocolate tart with honeycomb crumb drizzled with blackberry and elderflower coulis
Orange almond Chocolate Truffle Tort with ginger crumb
Just a note to say how very happy we were with Sunday evening! Everyone was so impressed by the standard of food, and your professionalism! Honestly, it was above and beyond what I expected. I had just hoped for a nice meal to save us the hassle of cooking and make it more special for the in laws bit it was truly a wonderful experience. Everyone agreed it really made our holiday! The food was fantastic!
Thank you for everything that you did and for leaving the kitchen completely spotless. We really appreciated it and will definitely be making contact when we return to Bosinver.
